Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra)
The Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) is located on the northern coast of Capri, near the town of Anacapri (Yacht charter from Marina Grande or from the Marina Piccola). It is situated at the base of steep cliffs and can only be accessed by boat– anchor your yacht charter and enter the cave on small rowboats.
The opening hours are usually from 9 am to 5 pm, but they can vary depending on the season and the weather conditions. Swimming is not allowed in the Blue Grotto but you can swim in the nearby sea.
Blue Grotto can be crowded during peak season, an alternative can be Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto) in Conca dei Marini. Every Christmas, Grotta dello Smeraldo features an underwater nativity scene with life-sized figures of the Holy Family, submerged 4m on the base of the cavern.
Naples (Neapolitan Pizza)
Naples is the third-largest city in Italy and is often referred to as the “capital of the south.”
This is where the world’s favourite snack food “pizza” was invented, made from plain flour and topped with whatever was easily available in the territory – some fresh tomatoes, goat’s cheese, and herbs. They still make it as they used to centuries ago, and it’s just as delectable! Some of the best places to try Neapolitan pizza in Amalfi charter yacht include Pizzeria Donna Stella in Praiano, Pizzeria San Giovanni in Positano, and Pizzeria Da Nino in Ravello.
Besides food, Naples is also known for its stunning architecture, including the Royal Palace of Naples and the Castel dell’Ovo. The city is also home to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, which houses an impressive collection of ancient Roman artefacts.
The best way to explore Positano is by yacht charter, as it provides a unique perspective of the town and the coastline. The town is built into the side of a cliff, and the houses are stacked one on top of the other, creating a beautiful and unique visual experience. The main beach in Positano is Spiaggia Grande, a long and wide stretch of sand with stunning views of the town and the surrounding mountains. There are also other smaller beaches in Positano, such as Fornillo Beach, which is quieter and more secluded if you are looking to stay away from crowds.
Positano is famous for traditional Italian cuisine, seafood, and other Mediterranean dishes. Some of the most popular dishes include spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with clams), scialatielli alle cozze (fresh pasta with mussels), and bruschetta with tomatoes and basil.

The coastline is characterized by steep cliffs, colorful villages, and crystal-clear waters best experienced with a luxury yacht charter. Amalfi is rich in history as it has been an important maritime commercial hub for over 2000 years.
